I came across this great website today. NOT JUST A LABEL (“NJAL”) is the leading global business directory for showcasing avant-garde fashion designers of today, nurturing the upcoming talents of tomorrow. It’s actually very refreshing just to have a look at and it makes you wish we’d see more creativity out there. I think I’m getting at a stage where my usual brands don’t feel quite right anymore. I’m looking forward to see this new generation on the streets (well, not in the bad way… you get it… I hope)
Nadinoo October 14, 2009
Sometime (well, most of the time) I think there’s something wrong with me. Tonight I was browsing around this shop and I nearly bought the first dress on the left. The thing is: 1. it is way too cold now to even be dreaming about wearing it 2. The shape of my body is not made to wear anything like this 3. Every time I put on a dress in the morning, I take it off about 10 minutes later… it just never feels right. Tomorrow this will be my challenge: I will wear a dress (yes hubby, for real this time!). Once I’ve done that I’ll need to reward myself and buy a new dress… hehe… clever…
Vanilla bug October 13, 2009
Sweet and cozy brooches: this totally suits my mood today.

Lilian Asterfield October 11, 2009
I’m as excited as if I had found gold! I’m in love, I want them all. Lilian Asterfield is the label created by genius goddess (yep… just that) Nicole Deponte. Her label is providing a whole line of one of a kind accessories all made out of ties. My favourite top (for now 10 years nearly) is a very shy version of what Nicole Deponte does. I’m ready to have a new favourite top! I just have to make a decision now… this is going to be a tough one.
For the pretty bride October 11, 2009
I was not even looking for bridal stuff, but I’ve found this beautiful shop today on Etsy: whichgoose. I immediately thought about Emma who’s getting married next year and would be the perfect bride to carry around a midsummer night’s dream – butterfly bouquet. I’m not sure Emma would agree (and right now she must be thinking: mind your own business you crazy woman… sorry Emma I can’t help it) but really she should consider (oh yes I insist!)
Bootbag October 8, 2009
I love this bag and I love the pictures. Now I want to wear old ladies suits and walk around with a Bootbag. It’s perfect for Ireland, I don’t know why I don’t see more of them around here. Come on ladies, wellies are not just made to party like crazy in the mud!
Lala Shoes October 7, 2009
The little one has been wearing shoes lately (the good on, the one with soft soles) as she’s spending a fair amount of time trying to walk (and really, letting her walk bare feet outside the house didn’t work so well anymore). Today I’ve found these cute shoes and as she’s turning one soon, I have a good excuse to buy her a new pair… I can’t wait for Christmas… I know it’s stupid because she won’t remember but Santa is going to have fun this year!
Creature Hoodie October 6, 2009
Rocket World’s Creature Hoodie Sasquatch “Wild Thing” Edition is part bear, part beast, and part Bigfoot. They say it’s perfect for mischief, subversive actions, taking on poachers and corporate greed, communing with nature, urban exploration, and staying cozy… I’d love my man to have one like this… Yes, I like furry men.
